Hian Seng graduated with Bachelor of Electronic Engineering (First Class Honours) from UMIST in 1999 and was also awarded the Electronic Engineering department course prize and Farnell final year project prize.
Currently, Hian Seng is the Country Manager – Asia Region for Seanet, a Sweden global maritime mobile GSM operator, providing mobile network in international waters onboard cruise, ferries, merchant vessel and offshore markets. He is responsible for the Asia regional business and also acts the main liaison between Sweden senior management in head office and the Asian strategic partners and clients.
Prior to Seanet, Hian Seng spent about 4 years at AlanDick Singapore, a British telecommunications infrastructure service provider, heading the business as the Country Manager for Singapore and also responsible for the Asia Pacific regional business development. At AlanDick, he helped the UK company established and incorporated the local Singapore entity and grow the business into a full fledge operational organization. |
